The Fat Queen of Tunlan!!!

The Fat Queen of Tunlan!!!

In Breath of Fire 2 for the Game Boy Advance there is a town by the name of Tunlan that inhabits females who speak in tone. The Queen of Tunlan is stubborn and spoiled and just cannot stop eating and has became obese. To make things worse a demon is trying to take over her body. She is vulnerable to the demons because she is selfish.

A letter is written by the former magician of Tunlan who was banished due to his disrespect for women, but is needed because he is an expert in dieting. The party must climb to the top of the mountain and obtain some mushrooms. I said in a previous post that BOF2 was better than BOF1 for the GBA because its kind of like Suidoken, you make your own town and can have quite a lot of party members. The only difference with BOF is that your party is limited, but each and every one of them can do something special. For example the monkey can allow your party to get from ledge to ledge.

The next part is quite hard. The party must find the right mushroom. The correct mushroom needed is on the other side of the top of the mountain. If the party choose the wrong one they are taken back to the start.

When the party return the old man will shrink them using the mushrooms. Haha...Super Mario...and they must fight her fat inside her body. In other words the monsters in each part of the Queens body. Most of the monsters will flee. They give some amazing EXP.

The level can be quite hard for those that do not know what they are doing. Here is an easy tip, there is a little dancing monster on your select screen. If he is sleeping there are currently no monsters in the area, if he is dancing there is monsters. And that is one way to find all of the monsters in the Queens body.

After the Queen has been saved the characters will be warped out of her body. She gets upset and tells everyone that she has not been saved.

So old man Gedd will put a spell on her to gain a little weight. The old man is then asked to move back to the castle as he is needed which makes him happy.

The party will obtain the therapy pillow as a reward. The people of Tunlan hope that their Queen has learned her lesson. Hmm...somehow I dont think she has.

Too right Lem Lem girl. People who act a certain way will always be that way, it is in their nature. But who knows for sure??? Sometimes things can happen in that said persons life that will make them want to change and for the better. But that being said, they dont really have to change for anyone. You make your own choices in life and if the Queen wants to be spoiled and greedy whats it to those below her? Although after nearly being possessed maybe shell think twice next time. Demons are real, they are just like you and me.
