The fire from the sky still falls Diablo III has not yet launched

When trying to install the game you get this error message: "The fire from the sky still falls. Diablo III has not yet launched." and a screen that looks like this:

If youre wondering what this error means, because youre trying to install the public beta opening this weekend, it means that you have downloaded the retail version of the game, and the version available for play this weekend is for beta clients only, not with retail clients (which is a slightly different install).

You should be able to access the Diablo 3 beta download from Blizzards page here https://us.battle.net/account/download/index.xml

Note that you need a battle.net account to use it. You can sign up for a free account through this site too.

UPDATE #1 (24/04/2012) : As the public BETA weekend is now over, you will not be able to access the game unless you have been invited to do so with a BETA key.

UPDATE #2 (11/05/2012): Blizzard have announce on their blog that:

We will be unlocking the games installer at 17:01 CEST on May 14. This will allow you to begin installing the game, troubleshoot any issues you run into, download and install the launch day 1.0.1 patch, and be ready to play as soon as the servers come online.

So this error after this date will no longer be a problem.

KARACHI: The Commerce Centre building settled on Karachi�s I.I. Chundrigar Road caught hearth on weekday. the fireplace erupted on the fourth floor of the building.

At least eight hearth tenders have acquired the scene and are attempting to extinguish the blaze that is growing in intensity. hearth brigades across town are placed on high-alert.

Eyewitnesses told  there had been no reports of any injuries. One watcher aforementioned the rationale for the fireplace was a brief circuit.

A fire department official whereas chatting  aforementioned eleven folks had been saved from 2 offices settled within the building.

This is a developing story and any details ar anticipated.

The Midsummer Fire Festival 2011 event is finally* over!

ATTENTION!!! FOR SOME REASON, THE EVENT IS STILL NOT OVER!!!

I hope that you got everything you wanted, IF you wanted (believe me, there are some people that just cant stand events), because at least I did. As you can see in the photo above, I am wearing my full "Midsummer Reveler"costume, I have a Brazier of Dancing Flames in front of me, and last but not least, a Spirit of Summer (the red sparkle on the right)! I only had to get Burning Blossoms for the costume, though, as Molten-WoW allows you to get the brazier and the pet as vote rewards at their Points Shop ;)

The Midsummer Fire Festival event wasnt good only for role-players such as me who wanted a nice looking costume, but also for everyone in need of gold/experience. Yes, you heard me! You could have earned between 1-2k g (Frostwolf 3x) by travelling around Azeroth and Outland, and extinguishing/honoring bonfires! They would also give a nice amount of experience, for those who had not yet reached the level cap that is.

But even more than costumes, pets, dancing braziers, gold and experience (not to forget achievements), the Midsummer Fire Festival was about feasting summer with your guild members, friends, and complete strangers! It was a time to watch the bon fires burn while zipping a little Fiery Festival Brew (sets your breath on fire!) and dancing around the ribbon pole (bugged on Molten-WoW) and for relaxing. No fights with the Lich King, no fights between the two factions, no ninjas stealing other peoples loot - Okay, you got me... I made that last line up, but what it truly was, is magical, and cannot be described by words (YES, even video games can be magical).

So... Now to end this special blogpost, I would like to start a competition between the two following competitors: Tree of Life & Boomkin.

The only problem is that we need YOU to be judges. Yes, thats right, you heard me. Dont worry, its not that hard. All you have to do is tell us which of the "creatures" dances better in the following pictures by commenting this post (ANYONE can comment, without any kind of registration). Please tell your favorite in your post by saying either "Tree of Life", or "Boomkin", and then if you want to, you can tell us a little bit more detailed note on why.
